Dr. Hopper has experience working with adolescents and adults dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse, interpersonal difficulties, grief and loss, parenting, phase of life transitions, and struggles with everyday stress. Therapy is a very personal experience. All Around Psychological Services always provides therapy that is individualized based on the needs of the patient. We will work together to create a treatment plan to assist you in getting closer to the life you want.

Dr. Hopper utilizes evidence-based treatment strategies within a cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) framework. This framework emphasizes the interconnection of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and helps people identify what is preventing them from leading the life they want. Dr. Hopper often follows the principles of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help guide patients improve their overall well-being and reach their goals. These principles include acceptance, mindfulness, commitment and values-based living. We will work together to build effective coping strategies for dealing with discomfort, gain a better understanding of yourself and others, and create specific goals that are based in your own values.

People seek therapy for a variety of reasons, and it does not mean that there is something “wrong” with you if you do. Talking with a therapist in a safe environment can provide you the opportunity to explore and learn more about yourself, identify obstacles and create plans to overcome them, and have someone listen to you without judgment.


Biofeedback is practice that has been around for decades used as a means to improve health and function by learning ways to self-regulate physiological processes. You may be aware of, or at least heard of, a mind-body connection. 

Biofeedback has demonstrated efficacy for a number of medical and psychological disorders. Biofeedback efficacy from The Association for Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback
